Cindy Duvall is a glass artist, who has brought her experience of teaching for 13 years, to the art of teaching glass. She was the founder and Director of Children First Montessori, a Preschool thru Elementary private school in Bremerton Washington. She loves working with children and now continues this passion by working with private and public school projects for auctions.

Cindy has lived most of her life here in Washington State and considers the Northwest her home. She loves the Puget Sound and the beautiful snow-capped mountains. She married her husband, Greg in Hawaii in 1982 and they are blessed with two sons, Jared and Ryan.

In 2006, Cindy was inspired by her friend, Robin Larson, a glass artist in Mukilteo, to attend Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle. There she studied the extraordinary possibilities of glass and continues to learn new and exciting techniques. She had the privilege to study under Patty Gray at the Pratt Art Center, who is well known throughout the Northwest.

In 2007 she founded Calypso Glass Art. Her studio is located on her property where she creates unique art projects for schools and galleries. Duvall is best known for her work with Iridescent glass and textured glass. She primarily uses geometric shapes in her designs, but loves abstract work with paints, enamels and mica powders.
